Prince William and King Charles appeared together on Thursday evening at a reception preceding the climate summit, which is planned for in the Amazonian city of Belem.

The royal pair were participating in the Natural History Museum reception, marking an unusual joint appearance at a climate summit preparatory event co-hosted by the UK government.

The King has been a consistent supporter of biodiversity preservation - and the Prince of Wales has inherited the mission, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be held in Brazil ahead of the UN meeting.
